It shows a lot of potential of fulfilling what i think is a real desire/market of the people that grew up on harry potter seeing a more mature magical world living alongside our own. As the movie goes on you see how the magical and normal realms live side by side and how they interact. The movie follows his investigation into finding who is trying to shift the balance of power/start a war. The main character is an immortal witch hunter (Vin Diesel) who acts as the balance/peace keeper between the normal/mortal realm and the magical realm. That is to say sci-fi/action movie with a lot of potential to create a full series but ruined by the studios/execs.
My view is that this is a classic Vin Diesel movie. So I've seen this movie but steam won't let me leave a review without renting it again through them.
